The National Association of Beekeepers of the Republic of Moldova (NABRM) is a non-governmental, apolitical, non-profit public organization, created by legal entities – public associations active in the field of beekeeping. The association was established in 2006 aiming to promote and develop the beekeeping sector.
NABRM is the largest association at the national level, covering the whole country, through its 26 regional members located in the main cities of the country.
The NABRM’ mission is to increase the beekeeping potential of the Republic of Moldova by training and developing the beekeeping business, representing the members’ interests and expanding the honey base.
The Association represents and supports the interests of its members both, at the level of the legislative and executive bodies of the country, as well as at the level of other central or regional public institutions.
The contact point with the beekeepers is built at the level of the regional association. They can find news in the beekeeping field there, such as news about beekeeping technologies and processes, new regulations. At NABRM and its regional associations, beekeepers can get advice on opportunities to obtain national and international funds, on developing their business and on other types of technical assistance.
Through the implemented projects, NABRM has trained and provided advice to over a thousand beekeepers, has advocated for positive changes in the legislative framework, thus contributing to the development of the sector.
